Xiao Wenlong, executive director of the Taiwan Machinery Association and president of Fuwei Technology Group, pointed out that since 2020, the world has successively experienced major international events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, and international war conflicts between Ukraine and Russia and Israel and Kazakhstan. The economic boom has suddenly declined, the market environment has become turbulent, and various industries are in a panic. In order to survive in the chaotic market and maintain market competitiveness, various companies hope to return to the operating track as soon as possible after the economy recovers. Therefore, whether in business strategy, production management, industrial supply chain, product research and development, market layout, etc., new response strategies and new business thinking have been quickly constructed. The development of "smart manufacturing" and "AI intelligent production" has not stopped. During this period, it has actually demonstrated its advantages and the necessity of development. In particular, the production line process has gradually developed from multi-station processing to a highly efficient one-stop production line process.
Xiao Wenlong, president of Fu Wei Group, said that after experiencing these major international events in recent years, countries will face a resurgence of high tariffs from the United States in the future. In order to reduce the impact of tariff barriers, the supply chains of various industries in the manufacturing industry will inevitably be re-adjusted and reorganized. At the same time, by integrating the single-machine multi-station processing production process and upgrading it to a one-stop production line process, it will also become a necessary process for realizing smart manufacturing and AI intelligent production. It is also the best solution for upgrading and upgrading to meet the high-efficiency and high-yield production goals of "customized mass production."
Xiao Wenlong also said that in the face of future market demands and changes in economic prosperity, both the manufacturing and machinery industries need to continue to maintain their competitive advantages and flexible adaptability. Although "upgrading and transformation" is the best solution, it is a difficult task. Providing "customized" services by leveraging professional technical core capabilities can be said to be the most effective alternative solution for "upgrading and transformation". It can not only effectively leverage technical expertise to achieve the purpose of upgrading, but also meet the needs of responding to rapid market changes.
Xiao Wenlong said that the past single-machine production and processing model can no longer meet the current competitive environment, and multi-machine one-stop production has become the current development trend. In particular, in order to meet the production trend of efficient customized processes, the reintegration and simplification of different product processing processes into a one-stop production line process is the future trend, and it can achieve the goal of integrated intelligent production.
He also emphasized that it is necessary to pursue the improvement and upgrading of production processes. Only by integrating the production line process model planning into a one-stop production line process can the industry truly possess proprietary technology knowhow and have advantageous competitiveness and uniqueness in the market. In particular, possessing superior customization capabilities is the way to survive permanently in the market. The introduction of a one-stop production line process can reduce the transportation process of various processing operations and greatly reduce the waste of idle materials, idle time, and idle labor. Upgrading the production line through process-based assembly can effectively improve production efficiency and achieve the goal of intelligent production.
However, Xiao Wenlong also expressed his concern that the international war has not yet ended, and now it is facing the negative impact of high tariffs from the United States, making the already sluggish economic prosperity and unclear market prospects even more worrying, and also putting the industry in a dilemma. In order to minimize the damage caused by high tariffs, restructuring the industry supply chain and making relevant strategic arrangements in advance have become important business response measures.
In the future, Fu Wei Group will strengthen its industrial center layout, assist businesses on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to invest in the planning of customized production processes, expand the scale of the mainland market, and guide local manufacturing industries to introduce intelligent rapid mold change system whole factory equipment as soon as possible, so as to be fully prepared for the changing market in the future.
